Originally from Malawi, I moved to New Zealand 15 years ago and now call it my home.
I have a degree in Bachelor of Commerce, and after spending just under two years working in marketing, I decided I wanted to venture on a new path. I’ve always been curious about planning weddings and would spend hours watching highlights videos online.
This led me to joining the incredible team at O!SS, and under Danielle’s mentorship, I have learned a lot. Working on a wedding with a couple (and sometimes their families too), is such a rewarding experience and my favourite part is always at the end of the night when all the formalities are over and the dancefloor opens - you get to see everyone just have fun and enjoy the event!
Since I started working in weddings in 2019, I have been so happy to be a part of so many couple’s wedding planning journey and I look forward to the wedding seasons to come!

When I started in the wedding industry I was 22 and I had no idea what I wanted to achieve. I knew that weddings made me happy and being surrounded by love and beautiful things was definitely something I could make a career out of.
14 years later, I'm still utterly blown away by the feelings I experience just being in someone's presence on their wedding day, and if I thought I was in love with love at 22, I didn't know anything.

Born and raised in Durban, South Africa, I now live in Auckland with my two gorgeous sons Joshua and Aron. My everyday life is full of love and family and the crazy antics that go with them. I am constantly inspired by my surroundings and am thankful that I have been able to take my love of all things pretty and create the incredible career that I have. I feel so very blessed to have been given the opportunity to be involved with couples starting such an exciting time in their lives and create lifelong relationships with each of them.

Over the years, with lots of trial and error, I’ve grown to know myself as a woman and as a wedding planner and stylist and I hope that I get to know you on this amazing journey you are on.

Your consistent availability, suggestions and ideas, professionalism, hard work and dedication created a wedding for us that even we had not dreamed of. Being a creative bride was great for me but having you to turn my creativity into exceptionalism was outstanding.
Thank you also for your guidance and firm insistence with convincing our parents that our day must be done our way. We really came to value having you liaise with the service providers and following up on the details we did not want to deal with.
Your presence on our special day meant that we could let go and know that everything was taken care of.
